November 30, 1994:  This fire on Route 12 in Barneveld was at the Bass Shoe Outlet Store.  We responded as a mutual aid company to Barneveld  Also responding were Prospect, Holland Patent, Deerfield, Poland and Stittville.  This building housed two businesses.  The Bass Shoe Outlet was a total loss but the second store, The Fabric Hutch, had only smoke and water damage.  The cause of the fire was determined to be the electrical sign on the front of the building.
